The 2025th edition of the INHOPE Members’ Meeting and General Assembly, held in Amsterdam, was a key moment for collaboration and strategic alignment among members of the international network dedicated to fighting online child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and protecting children in the digital environment.
Telefono Azzurro, as an active member of the INHOPE network, proudly took part in the event, contributing to meaningful discussions around shared challenges, operational priorities, and the network’s strategic roadmap for the years ahead. These gatherings are essential for strengthening global partnerships, exchanging best practices, and developing coordinated, effective responses to such a complex and evolving issue.
During the General Assembly, members engaged in key discussions, including:
Defining the strategic focus areas for the coming years;
Reviewing the network’s fundraising and partnership policies;
Reflecting on operational priorities to enhance collective impact.
A highlight of the meeting was the welcome of two new provisional members:
➡️ Autoriteit online Terroristisch en Kinderpornografisch Materiaal (ATKM), becoming the second INHOPE hotline in the Netherlands;
➡️ ANC-AD / CSIRT-AD from Andorra, marking a further expansion of the network’s global presence.
With these additions, the INHOPE network now includes 57 hotlines across 52 countries, continuing its steady growth and reinforcing its global commitment to child online safety.
“Working together across borders and sectors is the only way to respond effectively to such a pressing and complex issue,” said the Telefono Azzurro team. “We are grateful to the organizers for this important opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build on our shared mission. We move forward with determination, knowing that only by joining forces can we create a safer digital world for children everywhere.”
As a Trusted Flagger for the identification and reporting of illegal content online, Telefono Azzurro remains strongly committed to prevention and intervention through tools like its “Click and Report” service—actively contributing to a safer, more responsible digital ecosystem.
