May 25th – International Missing Children’s Day: Telefono Azzurro Joins ICMEC to Protect Children Worldwide
On May 25th, International Missing Children’s Day, Telefono Azzurro joins the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC) and organizations around the world to raise awareness for children who are missing, exploited, or silenced.
Starting today, Telefono Azzurro launches a campaign to ensure these children are not forgotten – to remember them, to protect them, and to take action. Every child has the right to be heard, to be found, and to be safeguarded.
Led by ICMEC, this annual day of observance represents a global call to action to shine a light on the plight of vulnerable children and to promote effective, united efforts for their protection.
Telefono Azzurro reaffirms its deep and ongoing commitment to defending the rights of children and adolescents, making sure no one is left behind. Silence is never a form of protection — it is action, awareness, and prevention that make the real difference.
As part of this initiative, ICMEC encourages the use of dedicated hashtags to amplify visibility and foster global engagement.
Together, we can make a difference. No child should ever stand alone.
