On 19th and 20th June 2025, Telefono Azzurro took part in the Assifero Members’ Assembly, which this year took place in some symbolic places in the city of Turin: the Aula Magna of the Cavallerizza Reale, the Paideia Centre and Piazza dei Mestieri.
The central theme of this edition – “Past, present and possible futures of Italian philanthropy” – led to a wide-ranging and profound reflection on what the world of philanthropy has been, what it is today and, above all, what it may become, in the light of the social, economic and cultural transformations currently taking place.
The participation of Telefono Azzurro wanted to be a concrete sign of commitment and listening, in a historical moment in which intergenerational challenges, social inequalities and the resilience of democracies require coordinated and innovative answers. In this context, philanthropy also plays a fundamental role in promoting shared values, inclusion, social justice and the rights of the most vulnerable – starting with children and adolescents.
Being present at the AGM 2025 represented for Telefono Azzurro a precious opportunity to underline the importance of joining national and international networks, to strengthen the dialogue with other actors of the philanthropic world and to contribute to the construction of a more aware, responsible and close to the needs of the new generations ecosystem.
