Cyberbullying provokes emotional damages that can become serious in the long run. Negative effects can affect the social, emotional and scholastic well-being of the victims. This  is often expressed through anxiety, low concentration level and a worsening school performance and, although rarely, it can lead to more serious behaviours such as depression, self-harm and suicide attempts. However, there are consequences for cyberbullies as well. Cyberbullies maybe at greater risk of developing anti-social behaviours and relational issues, delinquency, substance abuse and suicide also.
